heycar partners with cap hpi for data supply after UK launch
heycar has partnered with cap hpi to supply its vehicle provenance and automotive data.
Cap will supply the company with data including VRM lookup, vehicle data and valuations for their consumer-facing valuation tool and finance calculators.

Endeavor Automotive appoints Aston Barclay as remarketing partner
Endeavor Automotive has signed a two year remarketing deal with Aston Barclay, which will see 4,000 part exchange vehicles sold physically and digitally.
As part of the deal, Endeavor will be offering used cars every Wednesday at Aston Barclay Chelmsford as of 4 September from its network of 15 dealers that represent Volvo, Hyundai, Lotus and LEVC across London, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.
Endeavor has also signed up to Aston Barclay’s Cascade solution, which offers access to the company’s e-Valuate, e-Hub and e-Xchange systems. This enables Endeavor to sell its part exchange stock 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Individual dealerships will also use the e-Valuate vehicle appraisal app to accurately appraise their incoming vehicles and generate standard appraisals and imagery for use on the exchange platform.

Rockingham plans expansion of Automotive Logistics Hub
Rockingham is expanding the capacity of its Automotive Logistic Hub, with space for more than 40,000 vehicles on site.
The 250-acre facility will offer end-to-end vehicle processing, including PDI, refurbishment, re-marketing and de-fleet - supporting dealers, manufacturers and third-party suppliers.
Stuart Wright, principal of Rockingham Group, said: “We have big plans for Rockingham and are on course to create the UK’s leading state-of-the-art automotive logistics centre.
“We plan to make a significant investment to redevelop and extend the facilities to prepare, de-fleet and remarket a greater volume of private and commercial vehicles. We will provide our occupiers with the capacity to handle PDI and de-fleet contracts in excess of 150,000 vehicles per annum.”
The new site will also offer 40,000sq ft of serviced office space.

Diesel could be set for resurgence as cleaner models enter the used market
Diesel-powered cars could be set for a resurgence as ultra-efficient Euro 6-powered models start to enter the used market, according to an industry member.
Shoreham Vehicle Auctions (SVA) believes that as a result of petrol-powered cars dominating new vehicle registrations, ultra-low emission diesels will increase in popularity within the used market.
Despite being subject to criticism, some diesel-powered cars can be just as – if not more – efficient than their petrol-powered counterparts.
